Volunteer on the Raborn Campaign

No one person can win an election on his or her own.  It involves dozens of people, working together, to get a candidate's message out to the voters.  


When you reach out to us at [email protected], please let us know what your interests are and what you would like to do.  If you simply want to get involved, but are not sure what you want to do, let us know that too.  We will reach out to you to see what would be best for all of us.

Volunteer

There are many positions available on political campaigns.  Some involve working with the public, while other are behind the scenes.  It takes a small army of people to make a campaign successful and EVERY person matters!  Whether you have 1 hour, or 50 hours per week to volunteer, you can make a HUGE difference.  Some positions include:
  • Campaign Manager
  • Treasurer
  • Fundraiser
  • Social Media Liaison
  • Public Relations Chief
  • Security
  • Driver
  • Researcher
  • Writer
  • Proofreader
  • Scheduler
Some of the tasks needed for a campaign:
  • Making Phone calls
  • Putting up signs
  • Writing speeches
  • Proofreading speeches
  • Responding to emails
  • Research on policy issues
  • Research on opponents
  • Advising the candidate
  • Advocating for the candidate
  • Technical expertise (dealing with email, website, social media problems)
  • And so much more
Whatever your specific skills are, they are desperately needed on a campaign.  What you may consider insignificant, may be just the right skills needed to get your candidate over the finish line.  YOU ARE NEEDED!
